About the Meet
The North Texas swimming and diving team will conclude their home slate and open 2021 on Friday as they host Rice for their lone Conference dual of the season. The Owls and Mean Green will compete inside the Pohl Recreation Center on the North Texas Campus, which will be closed to the public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The event will get underway at 3:30 p.m. and be live streamed on the Mean Green's swimming and diving Facebook page with live results available through the Meet Mobile app (purchase required).

About the Matchup
The Mean Green are looking for just their third dual victory over the Owls since joining Conference USA in July of 2013. North Texas fell to Rice last season by the score of 152-58 in Houston while their last victory over the Owls came in 2019 when the Mean Green knocked off the Owls in Denton by a score of 169-125.

North Texas will celebrate its four seniors on Friday at the conclusion of the meet (Leigh Faires McGee, Ula Michalczyk, Meghan Miller and Micayla Morgan). The Mean Green's last win over the Owls came on Senior Day during the 2018-19 season.
