DENTON, Texas – Three incoming freshmen signed with the reigning Conference USA champion North Texas softball team, head coach Rodney DeLong announced Monday.
All three signees hail from outside of the state of Texas, adding two from Kansas and one from Oklahoma. All three players are high school athletes with high-level experience in club ball.
"I am excited to bring in these three young women to our program," DeLong said. "They are versatile defenders who all pack a punch at the plate. They will be a great addition to an overall experienced team. Not only are they good players, but they are also great people. The future is definitely bright as our program continues to improve."
Madison Conley, INF – Shawnee, OK | Dale High School | Epic National
Touted as one of the best cleanup hitters in Oklahoma, Conley won back-to-back slow pitch state championships with Dale High School. She capped her sophomore season by hitting a walk-off grand slam in the title game. Conley was twice named to first team all-area, region, county and district.

Maci George, INF – Valley Center, KS | Valley Center High School | Epic National
As a nationally ranked third base prospect, George brings dynamic speed and solid defense to the roster. She is a two-time member of the Wichita Eagle All-Metro team including winning Player of the Year honors in 2022. George was named to the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League division two first team in her junior season and 5A second team all-state as a sophomore. She won the 2022 5A state championship, hitting a three-run home run in the championship game to lift her team its first title.

Blayze McNemar, OF – Galena, KS | Galena High School | Aces Fastpitch Club
Utilized primarily as a leadoff hitter, McNemar will infuse the team with an on-base threat that has experience all over the diamond. In June, she was named a first team all-state selection to pair with her first team all-district honor. McNemar was ranked No. 64 by Extra Innings on its Extra Elite 100 in July 2020. At Galena High School, she is a 4.0 GPA student that has been named to the school's honor roll.
