The Mean Green split their two games on Saturday, dominating Southern but falling to Texas Tech.
Lubbock, Texas— The Mean Green split their two games on Saturday, dominating Southern but falling to Texas Tech. The Mean Green started off the day with a 9-0 run-rule win in five innings over Southern but came up short in a rematch of Friday night's game against Texas Tech, 3-0.

QUOTING HEAD COACH RODNEY DELONG
"I thought we were very complacent. I'm disappointed in our hitters and how uncompetitive we were through the first five innings of the (Texas) Tech game. We are better than that and will learn from it. Skylar (Savage) threw an excellent game and deserved a better effort from the rest of us."
