Men's Golf Continues Play at Blessings Collegiate

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The UNT men's golf team continued play at The Blessings Collegiate on Tuesday with a 1-under-par 287 - a 30-shot improvement on Monday's opening round.
The Mean Green were one of just five teams in the 10-team field to break par, as they were led by senior Diego Prone's 5-under-par 67. Prone is now tied for 23rd at 4-over par, on the par-72, 7,720-yard Blessings Golf Club. Fellow senior Cody Winkler is tied for 30th at 6-over.
The event features a unique twist in that men's and women's teams from each participating school are playing and a combined team trophy will be awarded aside from the men's and women's crowns. It is also featured on Golf Channel and Peacock, with live broadcasts on each day from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
The Mean Green will tee off for Wednesday's final round from the 10th hole at 10 a.m.
