Men's Golf Tied For Third Going to Final Round

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The UNT men's golf team continued play at The Carolina Cup on Monday with a 12-over-par 300 and sit tied for third at 16-over with AAC conference mates UTSA and UAB with the final round of play set for Tuesday at the Carolina Country Club.
The Mean Green were led on Monday by sophomore Alvaro Roldos, who is tied for third at even-par after his 1-under 71, and senior Cody Winkler, who is at 1-over after two rounds and tied for seventh.
The Mean Green will tee off the final round beginning at 8:50 a.m., from the first hole. UNT is three shots back of leader Winthrop and one shot back second-place Kennesaw State and will be paired with both teams for Tuesday's final round.
