Softball Travels for Mid-Week Matchup

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – UNT softball is set to visit Tarleton State at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Tarleton Softball Complex on ESPN+.
The Mean Green have posted a 7-2 record which matches its initial nine-game record from last season. Since joining North Texas in 2019, head coach Rodney DeLong owns five of the six best nine-game starts in program history.
Game Breakdown
The Mean Green will take the field after posting a 3-2 record at the Tracy Beard College Classic, collecting a pair of shutout victories over South Dakota and UT Arlington.
McKenzie Wagoner picked up her first career complete game shutout in the 8-0 win over UTA on Friday. She finished with six strikeouts, only allowing two hits and two walks in the victory.
