DENTON — Conference USA's two winningest men's basketball programs over the last six years meet Thursday in Denton as North Texas hosts UAB at 7 p.m. CT at the Super Pit.
Thursday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield. In honor of UNT's 10 conference wins, tickets to each of the Mean Green's remaining four home games can be purchased for just 10 dollars through the online Mean Green Ticket Office until noon Thursday.

The Mean Green (19-5, 10-3) defeated the league's preseason favorite Blazers (17-7, 8-5) in Birmingham, Alabama, on Jan. 21, 63-52. UAB has won four straight games since that defeat to North Texas. Both teams enter Thursday's contest riding a league leading four game winning streak.
Thursday's matchup pins two of the league's best teams over the last few years against each other.
UAB and North Texas have each won a C-USA Tournament championship the last two years and represented the league in the NCAA Tournament. Since UNT head coach Grant McCasland arrived to Denton in 2017, North Texas has won 66.1 percent of all its games, which as of Wednesday is tied with UAB for the best overall winning percentage over that time span in C-USA.
Thursday will be the 14th all-time meeting between these two schools. UNT has won six of the previous 13 matchups. As wild as it sounds, the road team in this series has won nine in a row dating back to 2017.
Following its game against UAB, North Texas will host Charlotte on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT at the Super Pit. It will be the first time the Mean Green and 49ers have met this year. In their only meeting last season, UNT beat Charlotte in Denton, 65-51.
