Men's Golf In Seventh Heading to Final Day

BOWLING GREEN, Fla. - The UNT men's golf team bested its opening round by two shots on Tuesday and shot a 7-under 285 as the Mean Green sits in seventh place at the Streamsong Invitational heading into Wednesday's final round.
The Mean Green were led on Tuesday by seniors Diego Prone and Cody Winkler and junior Dawson Meek, who all shot 2-under 71. Prone and senior Tucker Allen are tied for 11th at 4-under par, while Winkler is one shot back at 3-under in a tie for 19th. Meek is tied for 30th at 1-under par heading into Wednesday's final round.
The Mean Green will be paired with James Madison and Western Kentucky for the final round, which will begin Wednesday at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start.
