Softball Meets A&M-Commerce in Midweek Doubleheader

COMMERCE, Texas – UNT softball travels to Texas A&M-Commerce for a doubleheader on Wednesday at John Cain Family Softball Complex with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m. and game two at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Mean Green (21-17, 10-5) suffered its first American Athletic Conference series loss with a three-game sweep at UAB. North Texas is tied for second place in the league but holds the tiebreaker over Tulsa after a sweep of the Golden Hurricane on March 24.
Texas A&M-Commerce (7-36) have won two of its past three games at home but have lost eight of its past 10. UNT leads the series 2-0 after defeating A&M-Commerce in a doubleheader at Lovelace Stadium on March 14, 2023.
Over the past six games, UNT senior Lexi Cobb has increased her batting average 89 points. During this spell, Cobb leads the team with a .467 batting average, 10 total bases and six walks.
