Men’s Golf Heads to Little Rock for Final Fall Tournament

DENTON, Texas – The UNT men's golf team will conclude the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule at the Everett Buick GMC Classic in Little Rock Ark., Monday and Tuesday.
The Mean Green will send the same starting five that just completed the Trinity Forest Invitational on Tuesday. Alex Huang led North Texas at 8-under par as he recorded his second top-10 finish of his career at the tournament. In total, four of the five starters for UNT earned their best placement of the season, including Kalle Svederman (T25), Noah Blaickner (T41) and Blake Keen (T50). Mitchell Maier will also make his fourth start of the season with two top-20 finishes to his name so far this season.
As a team, North Texas used a strong third round to place eighth as a team, marking the team's best finish of the fall.
Rafael Estrada will make his season debut as an individual at the Everett Buick GMC Classic. The junior has played in nine events during his career and logged a 74.70 scoring average through 27 rounds.
The Mean Green will be a part of a 16-team field playing the two-day event. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday at Chenal Country Club, which is ranked the No. 8 golf course in Arkansas, according to Golf Digest.
