Softball Meets Tarleton State Tuesday

STEPHENVILLE, Texas – UNT softball travels to Tarleton State for a midweek matchup on Tuesday at 6 p.m. from Tarleton Softball Complex with streaming coverage on ESPN+.
The Mean Green (28-12, 10-5 AAC) will carry a six-game winning streak into Tuesday's contest after it completed a home sweep against UTSA Sunday at Lovelace Stadium. North Texas scored a total of 33 runs against the Roadrunners to mark its third-consecutive league series with over 30 runs.
UNT tallied a 4-0, one-hit shutout against the Texans (23-15, 9-6 WAC) on March 12, as senior Skylar Savage recorded her 300th career strikeout. Winners of its past five games, Tarleton State collected a conference sweep at Utah Tech before freshman Shelby Schultz was named WAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
North Texas have won it past four games against the Texans and lead the series 5-1 over the modern history of the program, which began in 2004.
