Josh Kahn was hired to UNT men’s basketball head coach Daniyal Robinson's first staff as the director of basketball operations on May 7, 2025.
Kahn came to North Texas from Cleveland State with Robinson where Kahn served as his assistant director of basketball operations.
In his role with the Mean Green, Kahn is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program and working hand-in-hand with the coaching staff. He coordinates team travel, academic success, budget management and the day-to-day schedule. Furthermore, serves as the liaison for the program to the athletic administration and campus.
A graduate from the University of Arizona, Kahn also previously worked at West Virginia as a recruiting assistant helping the Mountaineers by coordinating on-campus recruiting visits as well as assisting the WVU assistant coaches in organizing travel itineraries for recruiting trips. He also served as the program’s Name Image and Likeness liaison, assisting the coaching staff with NIL related concerns.
