QUOTING HEAD COACH RODNEY DELONG
"We played tough on the road against good competition. We did a lot of things well. The offense needs to improve and it will. Today was unfortunate, we missed on a couple of opportunities and hit some hard balls right at people. We will work on some things this week and be better prepared at the plate for next weekend."
Game Recap— McNeese State 1, UNT 0
After being held in check for five innings, the Mean Green's best chance to score game in the sixth when they put two on with just one down thanks to a Molly Rainey walk and a Lexi Cobb single.
