Men's Golf In Second Entering Final Round

NASSAU, Bahamas - The UNT men's golf team sits in second place entering the final day at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational after seniors Diego Prone and Cody Winkler shot 4-under 68s to lead the Mean Green to a 10-under 278 at Ocean Club Golf Club.
Prone's 68 was a bogey-free round and he enters Sunday's final round in a tie for fifth at 6-under par, while Winkler, senior Tucker Allen and junior Key Coker are all tied for 10th at 5-under par.
UNT enters Sunday's third and final round five shots back of leader Santa Clara, three shots up on third-place North Alabama and four up on fourth-place St. Mary's.
The Mean Green will be paired with Santa Clara and North Alabama and will tee off with a shotgun start on Sunday at 7 a.m.
