The UNT men's golf team has a quick turnaround after competing in The Hayt earlier this week and staying in Florida for this weekend's Gators Invitational.

THE EVENT: Mark Bostick Golf Course will play at 6,701 yards, and will be a par-70 course for the tournament. The two-day event begins Saturday with a shotgun start at 7 a.m., and will conclude on Sunday with tee times beginning between 7-8 a.m., depending on temperatures in the area.Â

THE FIELD:Â There are 13 teams participating in the tournament: No. 8 Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Gulf Coast, No. 25 Georgia Southern, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, No. 37 Liberty, No. 35 North Florida, Penn State, South Florida, Stetson, UNT and West Virginia.

REPRESENTING UNT: Competing for the Mean Green will be Vicente Marzilio, Tucker Allen, Lenny Bergsson, Diego Prone and Alvaro Roldos, who will be making his Mean Green debut.

INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR: The Mean Green feature eight international players this year. Lenny Bergsson (Iceland), Nikhil Gopal (South Africa), Zak Karkaletsos (Spain), Vicente Marzilio (Argentina), Diego Prone (Argentina), Simon Roessler (Chile), Alvaro Roldos (Spain) and Philippe Thorin (Ecuador) round out the international players.

UP NEXT:Â North Texas will head across the country to play in The Prestige, which is hosted by Stanford, in Palm Springs, California, on Feb. 20-22.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Mean Green golf programs are thrilled to have the new Bruzzy's UNT Golf Practice Facility, which is a $3 million on-campus facility that features state-of-the-art technology, such as TrackMan, swing catalysts, indoor hitting bays, a short-game area and a PuttView indoor putting green.
