Men's Golf Headed to Florida For Streamsong

Streamsong Golf Club - Black Course | Lakeland, FL
After a third-place finish in their season-opening tournament under new head coach Luke Calcatera, the Mean Green now head to Florida for the Streamsong Intercollegiate.
THE EVENT: Streamsong Golf Club's Black Course will play at 7,331 yards, and will be a par-73 course for the tournament. The three-day event begins Monday and runs through Wednesday.
THE FIELD: There are 11 teams participating in the tournament: Austin Peay, Elon, FAU, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Tennessee Tech, UNT, USC Upstate, Western Kentucky, Wichita State.
REPRESENTING UNT: Competing for the Mean Green will be Tucker Allen, Cody Winkler, Diego Prone, Dawson Meek and Rafael Estrada.
RESULTS: Live results will be posted on Golfstat. Full recaps from each day of competition will be posted on MeanGreenSports.com at the end of each round.
INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR: The Mean Green feature seven international players this year. Rafael Estrada (Mexico), Nikhil Gopal (South Africa), Harry Lord (England), Diego Prone (Argentina), Simon Roessler (Chile), Alvaro Roldos (Spain) and Philippe Thorin (Ecuador) round out the international players. Meanwhile, four players (Tucker Allen, Preston Holmes, Key Coker and Cody Winkler) are native Texans.
UP NEXT: UNT will return to action Oct. 2-4, at The Blessings Collegiate in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in a tournament that will be broadcast live on Golf Channel.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Mean Green golf programs are thrilled to have the Bruzzy's UNT Golf Practice Facility, which is a $3 million on-campus facility that features state-of-the-art technology, such as TrackMan, swing catalysts, indoor hitting bays, a short-game area and a PuttView indoor putting green.
