Softball Travels to No. 4 Oklahoma State Wednesday

STILLWATER, Okla. – UNT softball meets No. 4 Oklahoma State for its final non-conference midweek matchup of the season on Wednesday at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ from Cowgirl Stadium.
The Mean Green (28-19) completed a sweep of Memphis on Sunday with a three-game scoring margin of 26-1 against the Tigers. North Texas have won seven of its past nine games and raised the team batting average 20 points in this span.
Cierra Simon was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday. She finished the week with 11 RBI and eight hits, including four for extra bases. Simon added five runs scored and two stolen bases.
Nationally ranked Oklahoma State (39-8) enters the midweek meeting on a five-game winning streak, including a sweep of Texas Tech on Sunday.
Junior RHP Skylar Savage has recorded five appearances in the past five games against the Cowgirls, dating back to March 15, 2022. Savage was tabbed as the starter in four games and owns a 3.13 earned run average with five strikeouts in her career versus OSU.
