Men's Golf Wraps Up Play in Michigan

HARRIS, Mich. - The UNT men's golf team wrapped up play at the Island Resort Intercollegiate on Monday at Sage Run Golf Club with a final-round, 3-under-par 285 to improve upon their two rounds from the opening day on Sunday.
UNT finished 11th at 26-over par and were led by a freshman making his collegiate debut, as Alex Huang paced the team with a 1-over showing to finish alone in 21st after his final-round 70. Senior Dawson Meek's final-round 72 put him in the clubhouse at 3-over for the tournament in a tie for 27th. Sophomore Joe Stover was the Mean Green's top individual, as he finished at 2-over - one shot back of Huang - in a tie for 22nd.
The Mean Green have a quick turnaround before their next event, as they head to Louisiana for the Argent Financial Classic in Choudrant, beginning Sept. 8 and running through Sept. 10.
