Men's Golf Ready To Go In Louisiana

Argent Financial Classic
Squire Creek Country Club | Choudrant, Louisiana
The Mean Green are back at it after opening the season last week as they play in the Argent Financial Classic, hosted by Louisiana Tech.
THE EVENT: Squire Creek Country Club will play at 7,105 yards, and will be a par-72 course for the tournament. The three-day event begins Sunday and concludes Tuesday with 18 holes per day.
THE FIELD: There are 17 teams participating in the tournament: Abilene Christian, Houston, Jacksonville State, Lamar, Little Rock, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, Nicholls, Rice, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, UAB, ULM, UNT and Western Kentucky.
REPRESENTING UNT: Competing for the Mean Green will be Dawson Meek, Alex Huang, Blake Keen, Joe Stover and James Tureskis. Dylan Allen will compete as an individual. Stover and Tureskis will be making their debuts in the lineup after competing as individuals last week.
RESULTS: Live results will be posted on Clippd Scoreboard. Full recaps from each day of competition will be posted on MeanGreenSports.com at the end of each round.
DF-DUB: The Mean Green feature five players who are native to Dallas-Fort Worth this year: Key Coker (Dallas), Alex Huang (Plano), Blake Keen (Burleson), Rohit Madireddi (Flower Mound), Joe Stover (Dallas). Coker and Stover were high school teammates at Texas powerhouse Highland Park and won a Class 5A state championship together.
UP NEXT: UNT will stay local and head down to Dallas to play in the Trinity Forest Invitational from Oct. 6-8.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Mean Green golf programs are thrilled to have the Bruzzy's UNT Golf Practice Facility, which is a $3 million on-campus facility that features state-of-the-art technology, such as TrackMan, swing catalysts, indoor hitting bays, a short-game area and a PuttView indoor putting green.
