Men's Golf Wraps Up Play in Puerto Rico

HUMACAO, Puerto Rico - The UNT men's golf team wrapped up play at the Palmas del Mar Intercollegiate on Tuesday with just six holes remaining in Round 3 after playing 30 holes on Monday with inclement weather expected for Tuesday's scheduled final round.
The Mean Green shot a final-round 2-under 286 and moved up a spot to finish the event tied for seventh at 2-over par with Nebraska and had two golfers post top-25 finishes.
UNT was led by freshman Alex Huang, who shot 70-70-73 to finish tied for 11th at 3-under par. Huang was followed by senior James Tureskis, who tied for 25th at even-par after shooting 71-73-72.
The Mean Green will now have a bit of a break after back-to-back events and will get back to competition at the Seminole Intercollegiate on March 10-11, in Thomasville, Georgia.
