Men's Golf Back to Action at FSU Event

The Mean Green are back in action and will take on a strong field of teams at the Seminole Intercollegiate, hosted by Florida State, about an hour north of Tallahassee, in Thomasville, Georgia.
THE EVENT: The two-day event begins Monday and concludes Tuesday with 36Â holes each on the opening day and the final 18 on Tuesday. There will be tee times beginning at 7:15 a.m., on Monday and play on Tuesday will begin at 7:30 a.m.

THE FIELD:Â There are 15 teams participating in the tournament: Arkansas, Augusta, FAU, Florida Gulf Coast, No. 15 Florida State, Furman, Lipscomb, North Alabama, Southern Miss, Stetson, Troy, UNCW, UNT, Western Kentucky and Wisconsin.

REPRESENTING UNT:Â Competing for the Mean Green will be Alex Huang, Dawson Meek, Blake Keen, Joe Stover and Rafael Estrada.Â
RESULTS:Â Live results will be posted on Golfstat. Full recaps from each day of competition will be posted on MeanGreenSports.com at the end of each round.Â
DF-DUB:Â The Mean Green feature five players who are native to Dallas-Fort Worth this year: Key Coker (Dallas), Alex Huang (Plano), Blake Keen (Burleson), Rohit Madireddi (Flower Mound), Joe Stover (Dallas). Coker and Stover were high school teammates at Texas powerhouse Highland Park and won a Class 5A state championship together.

UP NEXT: UNT will have a quick turnaround before heading down I-45 to Houston to play in the All-American Intercollegiate on March 17-18.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Mean Green golf programs are thrilled to have the Bruzzy's UNT Golf Practice Facility, which is a $3 million on-campus facility that features state-of-the-art technology, such as TrackMan, swing catalysts, indoor hitting bays, a short-game area and a PuttView indoor putting green.
