
Softball Travels to South Florida for AAC Series

TAMPA, Fla. – UNT softball visits South Florida for an American Athletic Conference series at USF Softball Stadium. The three-game set begins on Thursday at 5 p.m. CT, followed by game two on Friday at 6 p.m. and game three on Saturday at 1 p.m.
The full series will be broadcast on ESPN+.
North Texas (19-12, 8-1) enters the weekend tied for first place in The American with RV Florida Atlantic after a midweek 7-4 win at UT Arlington on Tuesday.
USF (23-13, 3-6) dropped four of its past six games in conference play with lost series at Tulsa and at UAB.
On Tuesday, senior Kalei Christensen became the fifth player in program history with over 100 runs scored and 100 RBI. She joined an illustrious group including two UNT Athletics Hall of Fame members, Susan Waters (2004-07) and Mariza Martinez (2008-11).
The Mean Green have won 10 of its last 11 games and raised its team batting average 10 points while lowering its team ERA from 4.67 to 3.38.
