MEMPHIS, Tenn. – UNT softball travels to Memphis for a three-game American Athletic Conference series at Tiger Softball Complex beginning on Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
The Mean Green (25-19, 12-6) are fresh off a pair of road wins at Texas A&M-Commerce on Tuesday and a loss to No. 11 Texas A&M 11-1 on Wednesday. North Texas visits Memphis (5-34, 1-17) for the first time in program history but holds a 3-1 mark after meeting in neutral-site contests in 2008 and 2013.
The Tigers snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 6-2 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff at home on Wednesday.
UNT totaled 15 runs in game one of its road doubleheader on Tuesday which is the largest scoring output of the season and tied for fourth most in single-game program history.
Senior Kailey Gamble sports a team-best seven game reached bases streak and currently ranks top 50 in the nation at 0.66 walks per game. On Sunday, she set the UNT program record for career walks.
